About Inkfish Group

The Inkfish story

Inkfish Group emerged from the recognition that systems supporting vulnerable children are under significant strain, driven by a lack of innovation rather than intention.

Founded in 2020 by Louis Stedman-Bryce, following his tenure in the European Parliament, Inkfish initially focused on innovative housing solutions for vulnerable adults. Early success demonstrated the potential to create models that deliver better outcomes at lower costs.

This insight prompted a pivot towards children’s services, where innovation was urgently needed. Today, Inkfish Group’s three specialist divisions—Care, Homes, and Education—work collaboratively to address the complex challenges facing children in care.

Our approach is unique because we understand these challenges from multiple perspectives. Our founder, Louis’s personal journey provides invaluable insight into systemic failures and the impact of effective support.
